![]() It seems to be using very familiar things. The official Japanese Splatoon Twitter account stated that Octo Valley "was made using the remains of an ancient civilization. This dome also seems to be filled with a lake of purple ink instead of water. There are also a few additional panels that broadcast close-ups of Callie and Octavio during the battle. This dome has several seats along the walls of the cave for Octarians to view the battle. The final fight with DJ Octavio in Octo Canyon also takes place in his own "concert dome". Like the resort type, they also are filled with water at the bottom of the cavern. The third type of dome also appears to have a more basic cave design, though it does appear to have several roads going across the bottom and top of the dome. The sky panels also broadcast more tropical scenery. The "resort domes" are filled with water at the bottom of the cave along with a few islands along the sides. The sky panels here also have a hexagonal shape and are neatly placed, unlike the other domes. The "city domes" have several suction cup-like buildings scattered along the bottom of the area. While the domes in Octo Valley only serve as battlegrounds for protecting the Zapfish, the ones in Octo Canyon are also shown to have many other varieties like cities and resorts. They also contain several other floating objects like boulders, buildings, and railways. Each dome includes a giant lamp that brings light into the entire cavern. The Octarian domes are caves with several large television screens broadcasting the outside sky. It is also implied that these are the domes that the Octarians moved to after the constant deterioration of the Octo Valley domes. This is why several banners, stickers, and balloons can be seen in all of the domes. ![]() According to Sunken Scroll 23, Callie was put in charge of redecorating the domes to look more upbeat. In Splatoon 2, Callie was kidnapped and brainwashed by Octavio. Hosted by 44 Bytes.Sunken Scroll 23 showing a hand-drawn guide on the decorated domes. © 2023 Hookshot Media, partner of ReedPop. With a 10x battle win being shown to Switch friends and a 100x battle win being shown to everyone. Winning either one can get your team a honorary spot on the big screen in the Square during the Splatfest (including your nicknames). It's a super rare random occurrence, with a less rare variation being 10x battles. That image is a Splatfest battle where the win counts 100x. – The 100x isn't about 100 variations of Shifty Station, nor is Shifty Station being released as a regular stage. You'll also get a matching bonus to boost those qualities. – You can't choose your team name, but your team can get a fitting nickname when you have certain weapons, gear or styles as a team. Also, teams on win streaks will be matched together. In Normal mode both individual and team matchmaking rank is determined by not only your wins but also the amount you inked and team bonuses. The rest of the team will be put together with players that play Solo. Now you can join either one, two or three friends instead of needing to put a full team together. – Normal has two versions: Solo and Friends. You can increase your score (Splatfest Power) by winning. – Pro is a single player splatfest mode where you climb the ranks with your individual score. Yup, according to the SplatoonUS tumbler:
